Gaita (Spain)

The Gaita is the traditional bagpipe used in Spain and Portugal.
The term Gaita is used in Galician, Spanish, Asturian, and Portuguese as a generic term for bagpipes.
The Gaita is made up of a conical melodic reed with a double reed, the chanter (punteiro), a cylindrical drone with a single reed (roncòn) and a second, higher-pitched drone. Sometimes a third staff may be added.
